“Waterlines” Recording with ictus
I’ve had the pleasure of performing my friend Christopher Trapani‘s piece Waterlines several times with the wild and inspirational Brussels-based ictus ensemble, and one of those times: we made a recording!
Today, that recording–after much time in the studio, with some excellent technicians, and after much love–is FINALLY available for your enjoyment: to stream or download, and to listen to while washing dishes or chasing your kids around the house or spending (another) hour answering emails or just hanging out on the couch.
Available for free via streaming, and for sale in three formats (mp3, flac and wav) on BandCamp

Tage für Interpretation und Aufführungspraxis
I am looking forward to being a Gastdozentin (Guest Lecturer) as part of the Interpretation and Performance Practice Days at the HfM Saar (Music Conservatory in Saarbrücken, Germany) at the beginning of November! I will be working with young singers on their interpretations of contemporary vocal music as well as performing selections of Récitations (Aperghis), »Stößt« (a composition by Stefan Litwin, with the composer at the piano and bass clarinetist Michael Riessler), and Beat Furrer’s Spazio Immergente with trombonist Mike Svoboda. It’s going to be a blast working with these musicians, and I can’t wait! See you in Saarland!
Apollinaire summer!
Ésprit Apollinaire!!! in collaboration with S-K-A-M (Stuttgarter Kollektiv für aktuelle Musik) was a blast this June and July. Our performances at the NordLabor / Theater Nord Stuttgart and Kulturzentrum Dieselstraße Esslingen were great–thanks to everyone for your support and hard work!
Running a huge project of that nature in my third trimester of pregnancy was truly a challenge, but I had a lot of help. Thanks again, and may Guillaume Apollinaire’s spirit continue to inspire us as artists!
April Festival Weekends!
I am thrilled to spend the next two weekends performing in new music festivals! This coming Saturday, April 21, 2018, you’ll find me at the Redcliffe Caves in Bristol, U.K. with one of my favorite works, Aperghis’s Récitations pour voix seule. I am so looking forward to being part of Bristol New Music!
The following weekend finds me in Hamburg, Germany as part of the Hamburg International Music Festival, again with a work that I can never get enough of: Stockhausen’s Stimmung. Looking forward to some quality time with my colleagues from Forum Neue Vokalmusik!
See you in Bristol or Hamburg!
Beat Furrer Portrait Concerts in Spain!
I’m thrilled to join my friends from CrossingLines Barcelona (http://www.crossinglinesensemble.com/) once again, this time for two performances of a Beat Furrer Portrait Concert. Anja Clift, Steve Menotti, Quartetto Maurice, and conductor Lorenzo Ferrandiz are also part of this great team. I’ll be singing the duos Invocation IV and Spazio Immergente, as well as the ensemble piece Aria. See you there!!!!
